Margaret BURNSIDE Obituary

BURNSIDE, Margaret (Megsy). Born September 18th, 1926. Passed away September 16th, 2021 at Middlemore Hospital. Mum was happily married to the late Trevor Burnside. The family believe she has fulfilled her dream of re-joining him in heaven. Beloved mother and mother in law to Owen (Tup) and Sue, Petal and Dave Moran, Peter and Mandy; Brett (Chip) and Robin. Grandmother to - Tenille, Paige, Ethan and his wife Lauren, Shay, Misha and Alosha. Thanks to the caregivers that enabled our mum to live fully contented on the farm until just recently and also to the staff at Middlemore Hospital A private family funeral will take place at St James Church Ardmore in the coming days and will be followed by a memorial service to celebrate Megsy's selfless contributions to her local community, family and many friends. She will be sorely missed by all the people who knew her. Messages of condolences can be sent to P O Box 42-020 Orakei, Auckland 1745. In lieu of flowers a donation to the SPCA would be welcome.
