BROTHERS, Margaret Phyllis. Born 13 March 1925, died Saturday 20 September 2025, peacefully at her home in Selwyn Village, with family. Beloved wife of the late Nick Brothers. Loving and dearly loved mother and mother-in- law of Peter and Karen, Penny and David, Trish and Kevin, Philippa and the late Bruce. Adored, respected and treasured Grandma of Sam, Shelby, Hayley, Tristan, Nicholas, Ellen, Daniel, Sophie, Vanessa, Katie Rose, and their partners. Great-grandmother to Casey, Margaret, Maia, Jordan, Sage, Patrick and Luca - who delighted her, and who all found Granny fun and fascinating. Margaret's life was rich and full to the very end. Even though she prepared us well for this moment, we will miss her very much and forever. Her memory is precious to us all. A funeral service and celebration of Margaret's life will be held at St Barnabas Church, 283 Mt Eden Rd, at 11:00am on Monday 29 September. Margaret was a special cousin to Laughton and Jenny Pattrick. We visited her whenever we were in Auckland. Soft-spoken, funny, very well read, she was always a delight to be with. Laughton (in spirit) and I will be with watching the live-stream and sharing love with her wonderful, large family. Moe moe Margaret. Jenny Pattrick
