Maree MONTFORD Obituary

MONTFORD, Maree Joyce. 22 September 1937 - 24 February 2025 aged 87 years. Maree died peacefully on 24 February 2025 at Totara Hospice. Maree was the much- loved wife of the late Raymond (Ray) Montford, a cherished mother to Stephen, Philip and Barrie and loved mother-in- law to Denise and Susanne, and a much-loved Nana to Zoe, Jodie, Ryan, Nicholas and Loren. She was also a loving Great Nanny to Indiana, Bailey, Carter and Kobe. Maree was also a devoted ballet teacher who shared her passion for dance with generations of students. Her legacy lives on in every dancer she mentored. A celebration of Maree's life will be held at All Saints Anglican Church in Howick, on Monday 3 March at 10.30am. In lieu of flowers donations to Totora Hospice would be appreciated.
