BHAKTA, Maniben. With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Maniben Bhulabhai Bhakta, born in Kapura, India, and a cherished resident of Pukekohe, New Zealand for 66 years. She passed away peacefully at Pukekohe Hospital on 4 March 2026, aged 91. She was the beloved wife of the late Bhulabhai Khushalbhai Bhakta (Orna), Pukekohe, New Zealand. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Jagdish and Sita, Harsad and Roshni, Sunil and Pratibha, Susila and Yogendra, Nelini and Gunvant, Mina and Prahlad, Maya and Rajesh. Adored grandmother of Deepal, Nimesh and Shameena, Mitesh and Vaneeta, Sonia, Jason, Zarina, Meeta and Charles, Meetesh, Manish, Vaishali and Daniel, Jay, Leena and Vikram, Ram, Alisha, Aaron. Cherished great grandmother of Ayla, Zahra, Shaylin, Mila, Charlie, Ethan, Alayna, Ravi, Rekha, Evan and Emma. Maniben Bhulabhai Bhakta was an extraordinary woman whose life was marked by strength, unwavering courage, and love for her family and community. She gave selflessly of herself, always putting others first, and was a constant source of guidance, comfort, and strong wisdom to those around her. Her presence brought reassurance, her words carried strength, and her love shaped generations. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love and gratitude. Funeral service will be held on Saturday 7th March at 1pm at Manukau Memorial Gardens - 361 Puhinui Road, Wiri. To pay respects, visitors are welcome at 25 Jellicoe Road, Pukekohe, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th March between 2pm and 6pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St John Ambulance or Pukekohe Hospital. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.
