Malcolm THOMSON Obituary

THOMSON, Malcolm William (BILL). Formally of Norsewood, Hawkes Bay. Died peacefully at his home in Taupo on 23rd August 2025 Aged 83. Much loved husband of Lyndon and loved Father and Father-in-Law of Michael and Kate, Kate and Greg, and James and Shelly. Treasured Grandpa Willy to Ryan and Stacy, Gene and Tania, and Georgia, Darcy and Kade and his great grandchildren. Special "Bill" to Tim and Josh, Georgia and Ollie, Christian, and the Kay Family. Loved brother of Nance, Honey and Min. A private cremation has been held. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday 1pm 3rd September at Suncourt Conference Centre (Tauhara Room), Taupo, entry off Roberts St. The family would like to thank the Taupo Hospice for their care for the last five months. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice would be appreciated. Messages to PO Box 1267, Taupo.

Please accept our most sincere condolences on Bill's passing. We remember Bill so well from our time in Norsewood, especially his contribution to the school as Chairman of the School Committee, his social friendship, as the father of Kate, Michael and James as pupils and husband of Lyndon a staff member.
