He will forever be in our hearts." Malcolm will also be at his home from noon on Sunday to Tuesday afternoon where the family would welcome you to drop in and share your memories and thoughts. A service to celebrate Malcolm's life will be held at Fountains Memorial Chapel, cnr Wood and Elliot Streets, Papakura on Wednesday 18th August at 11am, followed by refreshments and a further time of sharing at Papakura RSA, Elliot Street, Papakura. Interment will be at Country Heights Park cemetery after refreshments. As a tribute to Malcolm, he would have greatly appreciated donations to KidsCan or the Starship Foundation which can be left in the chapel foyer.

Dear Theresa and family
I am sad to hear of Malcolm's passing. I have been thinking about you both and meaning to make contact with you long before now to thank you and Malcolm for your kind generosity in gifting Edmund Hillary School an avocado tree some 7 or 8 years ago.
Much to our delight the tree has produced the best avocados ever for the past 2 years. Malcolm said it would take a while and of course he was right. We have enjoyed sharing them with lots of people.
A special gift from special people for children and whanau to enjoy over many years to come.
Thank you.
Ma te atua tatou e manaaki.

Dear Theresa
Malcolm was my cousin and I have not met you, your children, or grandchildren. I have fond memories of the Stratton family who we saw off and on as children. I also got to connect with them maybe 30 years ago when their Mum Mary was sick in hospital in Palmerston North.
You have our sincere condolences for the loss of someone so dear.
