Sewell, Dr Mairi Alice. Passed away peacefully on 21 August 2025 aged 95 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Tom. Much-loved mother and mother-in-law of Kere and Susan, Janet and Dexter, Alan and Harriet, Rod and Alison, Graham and Karen, Andrew and Mary and Marion and Graeme. Legendary Granny to Christopher and Emily, Nick and Jessie; Peter and Sara, Jennifer and Alex, Eleanor and Simon; Becky and Roger, Kate, Tom; Hilary and Le Roux, Annie and Scott, Sophie, Julian and Logan; Mareah, Michael and Katie, Olivia, Jonny; Flora and Luke, Lydia and Marcelo, Ali; Jeremy and Kaitlin, Stef and Wade, Dillon, Jack. And beloved GG to her 20 great grandchildren. A woman of great love and great faith, you'll be greatly missed. You ran a good, long race and your legacy lives on in every one of us. Rest in peace. A celebration of Mairi's life will be held at St George's, 19 Ranfurly Road, Epsom on Tuesday 30th September at 1pm.
