LAING, Lynton Edwin. His Hon. Judge (Retd) 925122 Cpt NZEF. Formerly of Ashburton. Peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday 12th August 2015 at Birchleigh Hospital Mosgiel; aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband of Pamela for 54 years. Much loved father and father in law of Ralph and Ruth (Titirangi), Rachel and Richard Caswell (Karitane), Rosaly and Michael McKinstry (Nelson). Loved grandfather of Alexander, Charlotte; Sophie, and Angus. A service for Lynton will be held at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Havelock Street, Ashburton on Tuesday 18th August at 1.00pm followed by a private cremation. No flowers by request.
