Lynnette VIDAK Obituary

VIDAK, Lynnette (Lynne) (nee McComb). Born 10th April 1934. After a tough short illness, Mum passed peacefully on Friday 2nd February 2024, aged 89 years. Much loved wife of the late Peter (Charlie), much loved mother of Mark, Carolyn, and Suzanne, and mother in law of Dawn and James, and much loved Nan to Hayley, Leah, Taylor, and Cassie. Special thanks to the staff at Edmund Hillary not just for Mum's time in the apartments over the last 10 years but especially in the last 4 weeks in Hospital Care, for your kindness and compassion. A special thanks to Ora our angel, and Mum's sister in law and best friend , your strength at this time has been huge. A private cremation will be held shortly but we will celebrate Mum's life in the next few weeks, details to come. Mum, your light will forever shine on.

We were so very sorry to hear of Lyn´s passing. I have great memories of staying and vacationing with Peter, Lyn and their family; their fantastic weekend fry ups and Saturday cleans. My job was to clean the bathroom sink. It was such a joyous and fun time to be around the Vidak family. Such precious memories!
Much love to all the family and our thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.
