Lynette was a lifelong friend from summer holidays in Titirangi, visits to Sydney, her visit to Ireland and meeting up at different places around NZ and the world. Lynette was good fun and enjoyed life. I was always the youngest of our group as kids and did what I was told especially in the christmas "play" I will miss her friendship and her unexpected visits!

A force of nature has passed on.
Lynette was an early champion and a life-long promoter of womens' competitive rowing in both NZ and Australia, a disregarder of convention and a harbinger of things to come. Friend, coach, mentor, generous host , and competitor over many years, she had an amazing zest for life and will be missed.
