Lynette SKELTON Obituary

Lynette was a lifelong friend from summer holidays in Titirangi, visits to Sydney, her visit to Ireland and meeting up at different places around NZ and the world. Lynette was good fun and enjoyed life. I was always the youngest of our group as kids and did what I was told especially in the christmas "play" I will miss her friendship and her unexpected visits!

A force of nature has passed on.
Lynette was an early champion and a life-long promoter of womens' competitive rowing in both NZ and Australia, a disregarder of convention and a harbinger of things to come. Friend, coach, mentor, generous host , and competitor over many years, she had an amazing zest for life and will be missed.

SKELTON, Lynette Anna. Born February 27, 1941. Passed away on October 18, 2023 at Edmund Hillary Village Hospital (Katmandu) Life long friend of Sheryl and John Wells and Family. Lynettes love of rowing saw her travel the world partaking in her sport making many friends along the way. A full and lively life. Happy memories.
