Lynette POPE Obituary

POPE, Lynette Ann (Lyn) (nee Edwards). Passed away peacefully on 24 September 2022, aged 78. Much loved wife of John, mother to Emma and Matthew, mother in law to Andy, Nana of Ella and Nicolette and sister to Robert Edwards and Jan Fulton. A beloved sister in law, aunty, and close friend to many. She will be greatly missed. Many thanks to Eversleigh Hospital staff. A service will be held Thursday 29 September 2022 at 3pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Henderson. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Heart Foundation.

My deepest sympathy to all.
I met Lyn in 1964 when we both played hockey for Westmere LADIES Hockey Club. Though we both travelled and lived overseas the friendship remained through phone calls and post.
On my trips to NZ we would always lunch, a wonderful catch up of old friends for whom I named "The Grey Lynn Glamours".
Reminiscing the fun times, Lyn my friend you will be missed.

We were 4 years old in Webber St.
We will miss her greatly, I miss our phone calls,
and will miss our visits to Eversleigh.

Thinking of you all at this sad time. Because of covid I hadn't seen Lyn for a couple of years and living up North was a bit difficult to visit. I am sure you will have lots of happy memories to look back on.
