Lynette MILLS Obituary

MILLS, Lynette June (Lynne). Peacefully at home on Thursday 20 March 2014, aged 65 years. Dearly loved wife and companion of John for 46 years. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Cameron and Parmvir (UK), Hamish and Saskia, Nicki and Kelvin Martin. Cherished Nana of Kartar; Kent, Ayda; Madison, and Anna. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Murray Cameron and Gillian Poole. Her strength and courage over the past year has to be admired. In preference to flowers a donation to Taranaki Hospice wouldbe greatly appreciated and can be left at the service. All messages to the Mills Family c/- PO Box 75 Stratford 4352. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service for Lynne to be held at the Taranaki Crematorium Chapel, Junction Road, New Plymouth on Tuesday 25 March 2014 at 1:30pm. Dear Mr Mills, Cameron & Family, Hamish & Family, Nikki & Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time, I pray that your Mum rests easy now, her and my Mum (Raewyn Chamberlain nee St George) can have that game of tennis in the big court in the sky now. I was recalling to my husband how kind Mrs Mills was to Rhys and I when our Mum passed away as we were only 5yrs and 7yrs old but those memories are still clear as a bell, I remember her kindness to us at that difficult time even though I was only a little girl. I know my words cannot console your grief but know that your Mum touched many lives and brought joy and was a blessing to one and all. Our heart goes out to you at this sad time. She has been so strong but in the end I'm glad she didn't suffer too long. She was a wonderful friend, I loved spending time with her and talking on the phone and I shall miss not sharing things with my best friend. We know you miss her dreadfully but just think back through all the wonderful memories we all share of her joyous wonderful life - she certainly made the most of every day. Sending love to you all.
