Lynell and I have been playing Mah Jong weekly for 9 years. She was immensely proud of her family and in a small way I feel I know you too, she would lovingly tell me what the grandchildren had be up to and the special times they had together. I was looking forward to hearing about her trip to England but sadly this was not to be.
I would admire the beautiful necklaces she wore and she would say Phil gave it to me and what good taste Phil had.
Our Mah Jong group will miss Lynell and she will always be part of our memories.

The amount of joy we had over the decades with this beautiful, warm soul is hard to put into words. For well over 40 years Lynell has been an example and inspiration to Lee and me. The respect she has been given from every community she has lived in was so well deserved. Her deep love and pride in her family was unmistakeable. Our heartfelt condolences to Tony, Stepanie, Andrew, and their families. The world has lost a treasure. We have lost a dear and much-loved friend. John, Lee and Jordan Sumner.
