I had the pleasure of working with Lynda as a teacher in a school that did TFS. She was such a positive, flexible and lovely person to work with. I am so sorry for your loss, the community has lost a very special person, Arohanui, rest in peace Lynda.

Very sad news. Lynda you dedicated so much time to our boys and did so much to make our Trees for Survival programme a success over so many years. The many thousands of trees you've had a hand in planting will outlive all of us. Making the world a better place is a legacy we should all wish to have.

Dearest Lynda, fondly referred to as our tree lady! I have the best memories of planting seedlings outside the potting shed while listening to the juniors natter on about their lives. What spectacular planting days we had! Rain, wind, sun, we were unstoppable. I will always treasure the support you gave Pakuranga College with our Trees for Survival endeavours. I wish you a good rest under the trees Lynda, your kindness and generous spirit will not be forgotten.

Thank you Lynda for inspiring and supporting me as our school Churchill Park began our journey with TFS. You became a special mentor and friend. My heartfelt condolences to all your family. Lynda often talked about her sons and how proud she was of the boys.
Taken from everyone too soon after a brave fight.
Kindest regards
Sharyn and Churchill Park School.
