Lucy Kapa was a dear friend to me. We worked together at the University of Auckland- sharing an office together. The conversations and laughs we had were priceless that now a recent email conversation from her is all that is left of words shared with a good friend. Lucy you have changed and influenced lives for the better, through your dedication and passion to help others including myself. I know that in her second wing to life, sharing her affections for her beloved husband, children and her precious mokopuna's were Lucy's essence to being. I will surely miss you Lucy, and will treasure my memories of being blessed to have met a role model, a life mentor, but most of all a sincere and supportive friend. I will never forget you. May our loving God embrace you in his kingdom and comfort your dear family and friends at this time.

Ofa lahi atu Fau,
