EMENY, Louis Charles (Lou). Passed away peacefully on the 22nd July 2015. Loved husband of the late Moetu (nee Te Purei), loved father of Marlene and Lytle, Darcy and Sarah and their sister Sharon. Dear friend of Margie, favourite koro of Rena-Jean, Ruebe, Blake, Jaydee, Anaia, Ellen-Louise and Wesley, Jordan and Ashlee. Funeral service will be held 11am today (Friday) 24 July in the chapel of Gateway Funeral Services, 17 Awatapu Drive, Whakatane, followed by burial in the Hillcrest Cemetery. All communications please to the Emeny Family, c/- P O Box 2017, Whakatane.

,god bless ,Gary. Watson,Louis Father worked in Minginui with my father Bob Watson.I met Louis in the late sixties,Louis took me to the Harlem Globetrotters in Wellington.I was younger than Louis but tried to keep in contact with him,never realised he had passed away until June when i attended a funeral at Opotiki RSA.Very sad ,wish i had caught up with him again.Last time i saw him was

So sad to read the passing of Mr Emeny (Lou). Was always generous and welcoming when I came to visit the family. Such a lovely man and lovely family. Deepest respect and sympathy to Marlene, Darcy, and Sharon.
