Lorraine THWAITES Obituary

THWAITES, Lorraine Mavis. On 16 November 2018, passed away after a short battle with cancer which she faced with courage, grace and humour. She was a much loved and treasured member of her extended family. Among other special relationships she was wife of Bruce (deceased), daughter of Allan and Eileen Whyte (both deceased), sister to Denise Cobden-Cox (deceased), mum and mum-in-law to Sharon and Glenn Arkell, mother to Karuna Kerry Nelson, aunt to Steve and Jenny, Andrew and Marlo and their families. 'She will have a special place in our hearts always.' With huge thanks to the wonderful Waipuna Hospice staff and those at Oakland who cared for her. A private cremation has taken place.
