Farewell Lorraine. The memories from when I joined the family til now are rolling over in my mind ... bacon & eggs, learning to sail, afternoons on the deck with gin & tonic, weeding the garden, shifting house, grooming dogs, family gatherings, forever next to or in the kitchen, from cheese rolls to Christmas roasts and endless cups of tea or coffee ... to hospital vigils and subsequent reprieves until now. You have included me in your family, enjoyed watching my children grow up and helped us so much over the years. Be at peace now. To friends and family who have known you so much longer my most sincere condolences.
