Lorraine GAINES Obituary

GAINES, Sister Lorraine rsj (Lorraine Mary). On August 25, 2025, died peacefully at Eastcliffe Retirement Village. Much loved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of the Sacred Heart. Loved daughter of the late Edward and Grace Gaines, loved sister of Bishop Edward, Patrick, Sister Mary rsj and Jennifer Huffam (All deceased). Much loved aunt to her nieces, nephews and their families. May Lorraine be at peace. Gracious thanks to our Healthcare workers at Mary MacKillop Centre and Staff at Eastcliffe Retirement Village for their loving care of Lorraine. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 29th August at 11am at Mary MacKillop Centre Chapel, 56 Selwyn Avenue, Mission Bay, to be followed by interment at Waikaraka Cemetery.
