Lorraine AVERILL Obituary

AVERILL, Lorraine Esme (nee Leuschke). Born April 22, 1948. Passed away on November 04, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She fought bravely through an illness, facing it with her usual courage and strength, and we are so proud of her for that. Beloved Wife of the late Gary George Averill, cherished Mother of Julie, Jeff and Heidi, adored Stepmother to Michelle and Amanda, much loved Mother-in-law for Jim, Vicki, Richard, Dean and Chris, and treasured Nana to Harry, Riley, Ryan, Mason, Dylan, Bree, Kate, Samuel, Ashley, Gemma, Josh, Gareth and Blake. You will be missed by all who knew and loved you. A funeral service will be held to celebrate Lorraine's life at All Saints Chapel, Purewa Crematorium, 100 St. Johns Road, Meadowbank on 12th of November at 2pm. No flowers by request. Donations will be gratefully accepted by the Motor Neurone Disease Association on https://mnd.org.nz/get-involved/donate/

AVERILL, Lorraine Esme. Dearly loved little Sister of the late Grahame and beloved Sister-in-law and best friend of Judy. Awesome Aunt of Dean, Vicky, Carolyn and Grant and special Great Aunt of Jackson, Aidan, Tom, Paige and Beth. So stoical and brave in the battle with her illness and taken too soon. Will be forever in our hearts and deeply missed.
