Lorna HASLAM Obituary

HASLAM, Lorna (nee Blair, formerly Smith). Aged 91 after an extraordinary life, our beloved Lorna died peacefully surrounded by three generations of loved ones at home in her Northcote Point Community. Inspiring deeply loved mother of Gaye Greenwood and mother-in-law of Pete Austin. Adored nana of Amanda, Abigail, Sam , Joseph, Josephine and Michele. Treasured great Nana of William, Gabby, Alexandra, Olivia and Lucy. Her fun-loving kind spirit lives on in the lives of the many people she loved. A celebration of her life will be held at 11am Thursday 5th October at the Wharf, 2 Queen St, Northcote Point, Auckland. Finally reunited with her first love Tommy Smith she will be interned at North Shore Memorial Park Schnapper Rock Road at 2.30pm. A fun loving, friend and NZR colleague we have known since the early 70´s. Happy holidays together with Tom and Gaye at Hicks Bay and later at Paunui. Will be sadly missed but be with her Tom once more. Love to Gaye and all the family.
