CLARK, Loloma (Loma). Frith, Giselle and Yvette announce with deep sadness the death of their beloved mother, Loloma Maud Clark, born Navua, Fiji 29 July 1924. Died Auckland, New Zealand 5 May 2022. Adored grandmother of Frank, Phoebe, Holly, Christopher, James and Maurice. Adoring great-grandmother of baby James. She was the matriarch of her family for many years and the fourth daughter of Dorothea and Geoffrey Clark. Loved by her sisters, Helen and Florence, and by her brothers and sisters who went before her - Peace, Miriam (Wicki), Dorothy (Jimmie), Joseph (Sonny), Evangeline (Dolly), Richard (Dickie), Trevor, Clive, Cosmos, Mary and Tara. Our mother loved these words and believed in their meaning. Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow; I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there; I did not die. Requiem Mass at 2 pm on Wednesday May 11th at Sacred Heart, 16 Vermont Street, Ponsonby, Auckland 1011. If you would like to bring some flowers you are welcome to do so. Mother loved them.
