Lola JENKIN Obituary

JENKIN, Lola Yvonne (nee Short). On 23rd August 2025 peacefully in Wellington. Aged 98. Daughter of Frank and Edna Short. Sister of Bryan and Edna Short. Beloved Mum of Robin and David, Simon and Paulette, Tim and Nasi, Lindsay and John. Much loved Granny Lola to Mark and Amanda, Matthew and Fiona, Thomas and Brydee, Alex, Jahan (deceased), Tamara and Tim, Nasan and Leigh, Matthew and Kim, Tim and Tash. Much loved Great Granny Lola to Grayson, Isla, Lucy, Maisie and Sylvie. Much loved wife of Mike Jenkin (deceased) and beloved partner of Bill Toomath (deceased). Special mum-in- law to Rod and to Alison. Lola your zest for and love of life has been a shining light for us all. Thank you for being our Mum and Granny. Our deepest gratitude to the staff at Bupa Crofton Downs for their exceptional care and love of Mum over the last three years. Lola's service will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Road, Carterton on Tuesday 2nd September 2025 at 2.00pm followed by burial at Greytown cemetery.
