On behalf of the late Maurice, Mary, Paul, Sue, Brya and our families, we would like to pass on our condolences to Lois' family. She was such a generous, loyal, warm and humorous woman, with such a zest for life – a real Wightman. Her generosity and loyalty was very evident last year when she made the special trip to NZ for the family reunion. She will be very much missed by our side of the family.
We were definetly related

So very sorry to learn about Lois. I have such wonderful memories of her stays with us at our home on Omamari Beach. I felt so comfortable being with her as she reminded me so much of Aunty Kay. She was a wonderful story teller and a typical Wightman mimic and I will always remember her with affection. R.I.P Joan and Tamaki.

Dear Lois I had the privilege of meeting you twice (that I can remember) at family reunions -you reminded me so much of other Wightman women - strong, intelligent, empathetic and a wonderful sense of humour. I know there were many to greet you when you made your final journey. With love and respect, Denise and Melanie xoxo

It was such a pleasure to meet Lois at the Wightman Family Reunion last year, she had some interesting stories to tell and was quite entertaining while doing so. My thoughts and best wishes for your family at this time.

WIGHTMAN, Lois Elaine. Very dearly loved sister of Margaret and David, awesome and fun loving Aunty Lois to Angela, Karl, Lucia Belle and Mila; and Matthew, Fiona, Lachie and Fletcher. We will miss those early morning arrivals at the airport to greet such a treasured sister and aunt. Sadly missed by all.
