Lois WATKINS Obituary

WATKINS, Lois Ann OStJ (nee Tresidder). 16 August 1938 - 15 May 2025. Passed away suddenly, Aged 86. Dearly loved wife of the late Maurice - now reunited. Treasured mother of Lesley and Alan, Lynn and Jack, Grant and Kate, Fiona and Barry, Tina and Chey, and Arlene. Adored nana, great- nana. Cherished friend to many. Officer of the Order of St John and devoted community member. Her service is on Saturday 24th May, 11:00am, at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Waihi.

If anyone was out there serving God, it was Lois. An earth angel who worked tirelessly for her lucky family, friends, and community not forgetting the many years she volunteered for ST Johns Ambulance which says alot about this exempt human-being. Never did I see her idle or without a smile and I always sensed her warmth and understanding and felt welcome in her home. My deepest sympathy to all her family. Aloha nui loa, Sheryl Durbin
