Lloyd KAYE Obituary

KAYE, Lloyd 27 April 1921 to 13 January 2015. Lately of Omokoroa, Tauranga. Regimental number 408520; Unit 4 Survey Troop, 17th Field Regiment, 3rd NZ Division. Dearly loved husband of Olga, loved father of Linda (deceased), Denise (deceased), Barry and Loekie, Stephen and Joanne. Grandfather of Lynley, Raylene (deceased), Kirsten, Brian, Emily, Sjoerd and Pien and great grandfather of 10. Lloyd served his country in WWII in the Pacific Islands, and subsequently worked for NZ Railways for 40 years. After spending the last 36 years in retirement Lloyd suffered a short illness and is now resting in peace. A service to celebrate Lloyd's life will be held at the North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, Auckland on Saturday 17 January at 1pm, followed by private cremation.
