Lloyd BRADY Obituary

BRADY, Lloyd John. 30 March 1941 - 27 June 2025, peacefully at Mercy Hospice. A much-loved husband to Anne and Trish, loving father and grandfather of Konrad, Anne-Marie and Jianping (Francesca, Silas and Matteo), Sharon and Sam (Jordan and Alicia, Olivia and Jasmin), and Theresa and Paul. An enormous thanks to all the friends and family who wrapped us in such love and care during his final journey, and everlasting gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Mercy Hospice. A celebration of his life will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday 2nd July at Dunkirk Road Activity Centre, 50 Dunkirk Road, Panmure, Auckland. A livestream will also be available. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mercy (mercyhospice.org.nz) would be appreciated.

I had the pleasure of knowing Lloyd when I was the CEO of the Retreat NewZealand on Otahuhu . He came to me to ask for a volunteer role . I knew I had a diamond in front of me and offered him a part time RA position . He added value and integrity to those suffering alcoholics and was a great help to me . I will always remember you . You will be missed by many .
Much love Rosemary Reece Morgan

Lots of love to my dear Uncle Lloyd, funny, smiling, and always cheerful. Many happy memories of your visits to see Mum (Hoke) and the McCarthys. You were such a character and part of so many people's lives. Thank you for everything. All my thoughts to Anne and the family. May you fly with the angels and dance forever.
