We were very saddened to learn of Llisa's passing upon our return to NZ. We fondly remember all the fun times we had together years ago, particularly sailing and the BBQs. Llisa was always so positive and caring. Thinking of you Mark and the family during this difficult time. May the wonderful memories keep you strong.

Lisa, the final limb has fallen from the family tree.
Don't grieve for Lisa, for now she's free
She's following paths her family made for her
She's taken their hands, she heard them call
Then turned and bid farewell to all

She could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to sing, to play
Tasks left undone must stay that way
She found her peace at close of day

And if her parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ah yes, these things I sure will miss

Be not burdened, deep with sorrow
I wish you sunshine of tomorrow
Perhaps her time seemed all too brief
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief

Lift up your hearts and peace to thee
GOD wanted her now
So HE set her free

Goodbye dear friend

Llisa,
What a joy it has been to know and spend so many years of my life seeing you.

A gorgeous young lady who was an in house model for Glengyle Knitwear, worked in offices, loved boating, writing poetry and your love for people, and being a devoted wife to Mark, then life took a turn with the family illness but that did not stop your determination vigour and zest for life for as long as you were able until it was your time to leave us and be joined with (all deceased) Dad Fred, brother Roy, sisters Trssh Debbie and Jeanette and Mum Adelaide.
I will cherish our time a week and half ago when we had reflection, nostalgia tears and laughter with lots of cuddles. As i read some of your past written poems you just joined in with the words you knew so well from your memory bank and you so enjoyed the family genealogy and that favorite saying of yours - well i never - read it again and peering at photo's that you could just see the outline gave you such pleasure.
Llisa it's now time to say bye with lots of love from Peter and I.
We both send our love to Mark and family and also shirley to whom Llisa loved very much.

It is with sadness that we hear of your passing. Although we didnt keep in touch in the later years we always had fond memories of our younger days together. Sewing and knitting for you and taking you on long walks and you always laughing and having fun. Llisa will remain in our hearts forever. Thinking of Mark and family at this time.
