WHITEHEAD, Lionel Victor Passed away peacefully on 13-03-2014 at Auckland Hospital surrounded by those that loved him. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Murray, Chris, Gail, Eliot, Linda, Sandra, Pete, Rodger, Sharon, Craig and Rachelle. A Fun Uncle who will be missed terribly by all his nieces and nephews.

Our sincere condolences to Denise and family.I met Lionel on several occasions in their home in Paremata while Denise and I worked on a maths contract with the Ministry of Education. Manuel and I send our deepest heartfelt condolences especially to Denise at the loss of a much loved husband.Moe mai te Rangatira.

Denise and Family. Sincere condolences on the passing of Lionel. I came from Marton and worked with Lionel as an Electrician at Kodak NZ Porirua from 1969 to 1974 and thoroughly enjoyed the work experience and after work socialising at the Porirua bottom Tavern. RIP Mate, although it has been a long time you will never be forgotten.

To Denise and family our condolence to you all. I worked in Lionel's store in Paraparaumu he was a great person who everybody respected. He never judged and was always open to ideas was very supportive when my son was 17 killed in car accident. We quiet often even had a great laugh together also his new ventures which he was so proud of. A fine man that has left a great impact in MacDonalds and the communites

Hello. My Condolences To The Family I have never known. I remember Lionel as an apprentice at my father's Engineering Business, R. Bettany and Son Ltd, Wellington. I am the youngest of 3 sons and also served my apprenticship there after Lionel.I am now a Landlord providing Office accomodation for the McDonalds Resturant at Bulls.
