Lin was my supervisor for many years as I started my psychology career, and helped me personally and professionally with the utmost care. That philosophy of hers, of looking after, of looking out for, and of supporting all her supervisees, built spirit and connections which will continue in our practice for years to come. Arohanui ki a koe Lin.

Dear Linley, We go back a long way. Firstly, in Gisborne and then our OE in London and Europe and working on the Kibbutz, and in later years girls' weekends away. You faced your illness with great stoicism. Rest in Peace Linley, you certainly deserve it. Christine Leydon and Diane Quinn

Dear Linley, How sad I am to read of your passing. You have been a wonderful friend and colleague to me over many years, and particularly in our shared work with the Feuerstein approach. You shared with me your special memories of time spent in Israel as a young woman, attended our early workshops for training in the Feuerstein cognitive enhancement programme, and gave me special personal support in the last few years as I sought to take up again the leadership responsibility for training in the programme in New Zealand. Thank you for your belief in me, and understanding of the complex challenges we were facing as members of the NZFeuersteinForum hub leadership.
How bravely you faced your illness.
You will be greatly missed.
With love, Dorothy Howie (Dr.)

Lin was the bestest supervisor I have ever had. I will not forget the love, care and determination she had to make me a better psychologist. A lot of my accomplishments in practice was due to her advice and guidance. Thanks Lin. Ofa atu.

Dear Lin I am so sad to hear of your passing as I tramp the soil of my native home in Scotland. I was on my way from Orkney to Dundee through Glasgow as you were taking your final steps on this earthly journey. As the bus I was in sped through the great Glen (Coe) I felt sad to be leaving these shores and thoughts of loss, praying for friends and family who are struggling, you being in the forefront of my mind, I felt so sad tears began unexpectedly. Thankyou so so much for all your sharing, standing up for what was right, your deep knowledge of the broken systems we work within and your support and knife sharp insights. You are sadly missed my dear colleague and I like to think, friend. I send my deepest condolences to your family and close friends and colleagues, Haere ra for now, love Linda xo

In loving memory of Lin, a wonderful and talented person. I will remember you, and miss you always.
Lin got me through a tricky psych internship in 2001. It was the best and worst of years but all the more unforgettable because of the skills of my learned supervisor.

Thank you so much Lin for being the amazing psychologist that you are. You changed the lives of so many young people for the better. You then came to us as a supervisor and changed the lives of psychologists who support our young people. You were skilled, honest and had a wicked sense of humour. Never did have that drink at the Northcote Tavern so will have one there in your honour soon. Soar high. I know that you will be watching over us all now. Jo
