Lily TOMSETT Obituary

TOMSETT, Lily Catherine (nee Hunt). Passed away on May 26th 2019, aged 88. Much loved wife of the late Tom. Cherished and devoted mum of Neal and Christine, Clive and Susan, the late Kerry and Dawn, Gail and Grant Duncan. Treasured nana to 13 grandchildren and great nana to 10 great grandchildren. Lily was the last of her siblings. Forever now with Tom and Kerry. A memorial service to celebrate Lil's life will be held at a later date.

Have been thinking of you all and the memories we had growing up.
Lil was like another Aunty to us and I remember her being not just a lovely lady but also an amazing baker. I will never forget the Neal cake in particular - I baked that for years for my own family and they loved it too!
Also, one night we (the Hampton kids) were there for dinner and it was whitebait fritters - yum! However, she had to take the eyes out for one of the boys (can't remember which one) and then they were smothered in good old tomato sauce.
As I said, my thoughts are with you all at this time. Lot of love Carol Hopcroft (nee Hampton)
