WEBB, Lilian. Born 30 March 1927 at Woodseaves, Staffordshire UK, died 30 July 2022. Lilian tapped her toes, ran her fingers across the piano keys, then skipped through the bluebell and daffodil woods of home, then ran to catch her beloved Stan to waltz around the dance floor again. Beloved wife of Stanley (Stan) Webb (deceased). Beloved daughter of George and Harriet Elizabeth Cox (deceased). Sister and sister- in-law of George and Joyce Cox (deceased). Sister-in-law to Stan's family in the UK. Aunt to nieces and nephews in the UK, Wellington NZ. Much loved second Mum and friend to Debbie and John Simmiss, Granny Lilian to Bevan and Janine (deceased), and Miranda and Graham Dodge, and Great-Granny Lilian to Sybella, Georgia and Adalind. And many wonderful friends past and present in New Zealand. Many thanks to Dr Greg Beacham and the team at Duart House for the love and care of Lilian over the last three years, and thanks to Sheena for the care and making Lilian beautiful every Monday and Friday. A private cremation has taken place, and a Celebration Service will take place at the end of the year with the interment of Lilian's ashes with Stan's.
