Lila YOUNG Obituary

YOUNG, Lila Catherine (nee Howe). On 3 June 2017, peacefully at Bernadette Rest home, Mt Maunganui, aged 79 years. Much loved wife of Grant, mother and mother-in-law of Stuart and Yvonne, Leanne and Kenny, Rodney and Chenie Mae, beautiful grandma to Tayler, Campbell, Cody and Jenny, Danielle, Leroy, and great grandma to Aubrey. A small gathering to farewell Lila, will be held in Tauranga. Communication to the Young Family c/o P.O Box 3136 Greerton, Tauranga 3142.

So sorry to hear of Lila`s passing,a lovely lady.Lila and I met when we were both staying
at the Lions Lodge in Hamilton and having radiation treatment.Lila was always very supportive and we found we had a lot in common
as we both came from Taranaki.Later we keep in
touch a couple of times a year by email.
My deepest sympathy to all her family.
Cherish the memories you have,they are with us
always.

A lovely lady.I met Lila when we were both at the Lions Lodge in Hamilton when we were both
having radiation treatment.We discovered that
we were both from Taranaki ,so had lots in common.Lila was always very supportive and we
used to keep in touch by email.
