Lila SWANN Obituary

SWANN, Lila Theresa. Passed away peacefully on July 28, 2012 at Lake Rotoma, Rotorua, aged 90. Beloved wife of the late Peter Joseph. Much loved, cherished, and adored mother and mother-in-law of Christina and Carlos (Italy), Mapuni and David (Utah), Larry and Sharon, Wendy and Jeff, Elizabeth and Bruce, Amelia and Lester, Lucy and Tony, James and Piarre, Dorothy and Paul, Ida and Sam, the late June, Billy and Virginia, Sheryl and Tony. Treasured Grandmother and Great-Grandmother of all her grandchildren. Will be truly missed by all. Mum grew tired and weary, you tried so hard to stay with us all, we will miss your beautiful smile and your loving and unselfish ways. A service for Lila will be held at St Benedict's Catholic Church, St Benedict Street, Auckland City at 10 am on Friday 3rd August. May perpetual light shine upon you. Rest in peace. Love you Mum. MY Beautiful nana Swann! thank you for being the most caring, kindest loving Nana I'm never going to forget your sweet voice and gorgeous smile.you were one amazingly lady! you are finally reunited with your sweetheart (grandad Swann),give grandad and aunty June a big hug and kiss from us!we love you so much!!

I would like to offer the condolences and love to all of Lilas family at this time on behalf of the Gosche family Peter and Tolita Gosche. Lila was a much loved and respected member of our extended family and will be missed. I can still see her having a swim with the kids at Lani beach Savaii after Le Tasi's funeral not too long ago. I hope I can swim with the kids in my mid eighties! RIP Lila Soifua

Swann Lila Teresa, the best mother in law a person could ever have! ALWAYS there to help. The most giving person I have had the honour to know.
And lucky for me my wife is similar.
I know this is sad for us losing Lila however I know if one person will be in heaven it will be Lila Swann...she was our Saint Teresa
