Adored grand father of 8 and great grandfather of 8. Lex was a great mentor, role model and friend of our late father, Ray Sheild. Lex was a man that our Dad looked up to as he made his way through Hawkins ranks and the move with our family to Auckland in the early 1970s to start a new life in the big smoke. Thank you for all you did and all your support of our father Lex. Safe travels and RIP
