Lewis STRONGE Obituary

STRONGE, Lewis Patrick. January 5, 1957 - July 14 2022. With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Lewis Stronge in a tragic accident. Aged 65 years. Loved and adored husband of Merle. Loving father to Brandon, Roxanne and Wayne and Jessica and Stephen. Favourite Papa Lew to Kingston, Nikita, Savannah, Kazlo, Willow, Fletcher and Eliza. Dearly missed son of Junia and Rob (late) and brother to Mitchell and Denise, Nathan and Caroline, and Elizabeth and John. A loving brother-in-law, uncle, friend and mentor to many. A memorial service will be held at the Vodafone Event Centre in the BNZ Theatre, Manukau City, 2 pm on Tuesday the 9th of August.

To all the Stronge family My heart aches with yours at this time of tragic loss as I understand what a huge gap this will leave in the family circle. Hard to comprehend that Lew has been taken from us. What a beautiful life to adorn Heaven. He was such an inspiration with his warm spirit and heart of gold and that engaging smile that could melt anyone! I count it a great privilege to have observed Lew's life from a young single man, to a grandfather - embracing every stage of life with enthusiasm and his deep faith in God.
