Lewis LATHROPE Obituary

LATHROPE, Lewis Stanley (Lew). Passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his family on Thursday 20th June 2024, in his 95th year. Former husband of Joy, beloved father of Christine and Peter, Philip and Sue, Gary and Lesley, Sandra and Bob. Loved by his 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Will be sadly missed but in our hearts forever. A funeral to celebrate Lew's life will be held at 45B Black Swamp Road (Windsor Way), Mangawhai on Thursday 27th June 2024 at 11.00am, to be followed by private cremation. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Such a wonderful man who helped so many people. I remember when you came here and luckily had a choice of units when me and Howie first met you. Willie and you became mates and great neighbours then came tutu who is so at home with everyone he meets Rest easy our friend Forever thinking of you Donna Ashby unit 4 and Willie Hetaraka unit 12 Fagan place and all the people at Fagan Place
