Lewis Bayer Obituary

BAYER, Lewis Wain (Lew). Died peacefully at home with his family on 25 August, 2010. A devoted husband who will be forever missed by his wife of 39 years, Raewyn. Loved father and father-in-law of Vaughan and Tanya (Auckland), Cassandra and Greg (Hamilton) and Anthony (Melbourne). A doting and hands on Poppa to Harriet, Hugo and Sofia. Although Lew's illness was swift and we are mourning all the years we've lost with him, we are so proud he was able to spend his precious last days at home. A funeral ceremony celebrating Lew's life will be held at the Hamilton Park Cemetery Chapel, 395 Morrinsville Road, Newstead, on Saturday, 28 August at 3.00pm, followed by burial.
