Leslie YOUNG Obituary
YOUNG, Professor Leslie. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 5 April 2022 in London. Leslie, beloved husband of Lee (nee McNab) and father of Mei Ling, son of Young Yuk Foon and Lowe Soo Yee (both deceased), brother and brother-in-law of Susie (deceased) and Koon Fai, Steven and Rosalind, and Lillian (deceased) and Michael, and uncle of Linda, Geoffrey, Selena, Nicola, Andrew, Christopher, Michelle and Nicholas, will be remembered for his kindness, diligence, intelligent wit, and, above all, his devotion to his family. A private cremation will be held in London, with a full ceremony to celebrate his life to be held in Levin, New Zealand in the coming months.

Lee and Mei Ling, I am so saddened to learn about the death of Professor Leslie Young. Leslie was a great scholar and inspired me a lot when he supervised my PhD thesis. Best wishes to his new journey in another space.

Lee and Mei Ling, We were so saddened to hear of Leslie's death. Such an intelligent, witty, and charming man. Our thoughts are with you both. We hope that we can get to Levin for his memorial service down the track.
