Leslie SPENCER Obituary

SPENCER, Leslie Errol (Errol). It is with deep sadness that we wish to inform you of the passing of Errol on the 15 July 2024 in his 98th year, after a long and very busy life. A very special friend and companion to Janet for 68 years. Devoted brother of Lois Durward (Rotorua). Loving father and father in law of Malcolm and Michelle, Elizabeth and Lionel. Loving Poppa of Brook and Sophie, Joshua and Katie, Braedon and Christina, James and Alex. Great Poppa of Lola, Coco, Niko, Tilly, Eleanor and Jasper and much loved by extended families. He was a shining example of a great husband, father, poppa, friend and Physician. He will be sadly missed by us all. In accordance with Errol's wishes a private service has been taken place. Communications please to the Spencer family C/- PO Box 2070 Whakatane.

My heartfelt condolences to Mrs Spencer and family on the passing of Errol, Dr.Spencer as he will always be known by myself, Tim and Nora. Errol delivered all of us, a neighbour living over our back fence meant that the fluid movement of children between each home was very usual as we grew up. Much love to you.

My sympathies to the Spencer family in the passing of Errol at such a magnificent age. He was a wonderful Doctor to me during my Kawerau years 1967 - 1976. I taught Elizabeth at Central School during my first year of teaching.
