Grief is hard. Holding a special place in our hearts as we think of cousin Les's tragic passing.
May his new journey be full of peace, and we will hold tight to the special memories.

Heartfelt sympathy to Mary and family on the passing of Les. I had the pleasure of meeting Mary and Les on a European tour. Some years later we visited NZ and Mary and Les kindly showed us around Auckland. I also enjoyed his photographs and comments on FB. It was a shock to get this news. Thinking of you Mary.

My heart felt condolences to Mary and family. In 1972 Maureen and I bought a section in Pembroke Road, Wilton, Wellington next door to Mary and Les, and moved into our new house in March 1973 and became neighbours. We formed a close knit group, including with the Kwoks and Cameron's across the road, bringing up our young families. What great neighbours Les and Mary were. Later we enjoyed staying with the Motion family a number of times in Auckland. Many great memories, including curses on the golf course, when things didn't quite go to plan, followed by Les's infectious laugh! I will miss a great friend.

Sincere condolences. Les was always ready to pitch in and help in any Rotary project including the founding of the Probus Club at Botany to which I belonged. A good companion always, with a good sense of humor. R.I.P
