HOOD, Leslie (Les). RNZAF, NZ403961, Flt Lieu, D.F.C. On 17 July 2010, peacefully at Waikato Hospital; Aged 94 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Edith for 68 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Ian and Joy and Marilyn and Roger Sampson. Loved granddad of Rachel, David, Janine and Graham, James and Sharlene, Michelle and Alex. Loved great-granddad of Joshua, Timothy and Sienna. He is now at Peace with His Lord. A service for Les will be held at the Westside Presbyterian Church, King Street, Frankton, Hamilton on Thursday, July 22 at 2pm followed by a private cremation.
