Lesley CAMPBELL Obituary

CAMPBELL, Lesley Alicia (nee McCoy). Sadly passed away on 9th May 2025 aged 87 years. Dearly loved lifetime friend and wife of Donald. Devoted mother to Andrew, Nicky and Rob. Treasured mother-in law to Sheryl and Marena. Adored Nana to Olivia, Elise, Michael and Nadia. Semi-adopted Nana to David and Mark. She will be greatly missed by all her family and those whose lives she impacted in her roles as a dedicated teacher and tutor in Howick, and the greater Waiuku area where she lived for over 30 years. She will be forever in our hearts. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Pukekohe Hospital rehab unit who made Lesley's final days peaceful and pain free. A service to celebrate Lesley's life will be held at Saint Patrick's Church, 119-129 Seddon Street, Pukekohe on Thursday 15th May at 11:00am.

To Don, Andrew, Nicky, Rob and extended family. Sending you our condolences for the loss of your beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Lesley will be remembered as a beautiful lady, very giving and loving to the people who knew her. She'll be missed by many and remembered for all the beautiful things that she did from her ability to welcome you into her home, to her beautiful cooking, sawing and giving her time and energy to many students who needed help with their english. A multi talented lady you won't be forgotten.

Lesley was one of those rare souls who made you feel like part of the family from the moment you met her. Though we only knew each other for a short time, her warmth, kindness, and gentle humour made a lasting impact. Her love for Donald and her family radiated from her, and her talents - from beautiful quilting to her incredible preserves - were just a small reflection of the care she put into everything.

I feel truly lucky to have crossed paths with her. She will be missed.
