My parents Mavis and Vic Alexander looked after Leon as a young boy after his mother passed away. He lived with them in Opotiki for quite a number of years until his father married again. He was part of the family. We have a few photos of him as a young boy.

What great ties Ernie Lepper and Leon had working on 4th form camps each year at Wesley College.
I also was a Junior nurse at Tauranga Hospital in the late 1950's when you were a senior nurse.
