I am very sorry for your loss. Mr Grey was an inspirational teacher who taught us that what you dream can come true as we planned and built playgrounds, as we challenged ourselves at school camps. For me he was that teacher which made difference in my life.

We are sorry to hear of Leith´s passing, Knomes has known the family for many years through her Parents Lyn and Alan Dawick. I have known them since working with Dave at Skyline Skyrides and then even more when Knomes and I got together.
I look around my house and see many memories of what Leith created for us like a table and a fruit bowl which are used everyday.
Leith also made my Son Phoenix many wooden toys and gadgets that we still have.
Our hearts go out to Bev, Paul, Chris and Dave for the huge loss. He was a great man who I admired for his woodwork skills and always enjoyed catching up with at my In-laws Lyn and Alan.

A man with so much to offer when teaching students at Westbrook School. He had so much knowledge and students learnt so much when out camping on school camps. A man with a big heart to share. My wood turnings at home hold pride of place. Rest in Peace Leigh. Condolences to Bev and family. Thoughts with you all at this time.

Sincere condolences to you all. I remember Leith as a very compassionate and empathetic teacher who had the utmost respect from his students at Westbrook School. His double under skipping competitions, legendary camps at Okataina, and fort playground building skills won´t be forgotten. His wood turning was extraordinary and I cherish the small pieces that I have. Losing your best friend is very hard Bev, please reach out if you need anything.
