LOKUM, Leendert (Leen). At St Joan's Hospital, Hamilton, on 22 March 2022, aged 89 years. Dearly loved husband of Anne and the late Margaretha. Loved father and father-in- law of Henk and Maggie, Gary and Chris, Rachel and Katherine. Beloved Opa of Stephanie, Jacqui and Archie. A service for Leen will be held at Nawton Community Presbyterian Church, Livingstone Avenue, Nawton, Hamilton, on Tuesday, 29 March 2022 at 1pm. Due to the covid restrictions numbers will be limited to 100, will require a vaccine pass and will be livestreamed. All communications to the Lokum family C/- PO Box 5523, Frankton, Hamilton, 3242.

Dear Ann and family,
My condolences on the passing of your beloved husband,Father and Opa.
I read the notice in the paper,often thought of him,looking at that piece of garden here which Len helped us with.
I was going to watch the service on Line,but unfortunately i cannot get in to it.
I was going to watch the service on line but am unable to get into the live stream unfortunately.

Leen's strong hand on my arm gave more love and reassurance than any words as he and Anne prayed for us. The Lord showed that he can still use us even when we think we have no use.
