Sad to have missed meeting her again in adult life. As a child growing up in theatre I had the privilege of admiring her Giant performances over many years as well as her stateliness, grace and zest for life. True Divas are few. Anyone to have known her was most fortunate

Lee, I've so many fond memories of you throughout my life. Growing up in Auckland watching you on television or on stage at the Mercury. Then later we were so fortunate you came to live in Perth to be close to Lisa and your grandchildren. Your presence filled the room. I shall miss those marvellous welcomes -your ability to make everyone feel special, your interesting conversation and your beautiful smiling eyes. You truly are one of a kind.

I remember your 'joie de vivre' vividly, Lee; you lived every moment with passion and energy - even those family times like Christmas Day were more of an 'event' with you there! I know that, just as the rest of the family did, Dad and Alcye loved spending time with you - I hope that, wherever you are now, you can spend some more joyful times together. Arohanui.

Dearest Lee.... A singin, dancing phenomenon and a sensitive actress too long gone from our shores and too soon gone from our lives. I will always treasure the memories of your joy in work..your dedication to the craft.
We performed in many shows together at Mercury. I have directed you with a great delight in your characterizations. I shall miss you and continue to applaud you though you have left the stage.
With love and fond memory
