Leanne PIESSE Obituary

PIESSE, Leanne Michele (nee Bonham). Born 22 February 1962. Died 22 March 2025, aged 63 years. Loved wife of Mark. Cherished Mother of Duncan and Hugh. Daughter of Juneen and the late Kerwin. Adored sister of Maxine, Hayden, and Petrina. Much loved family member and friend to many. In lieu of flowers, donations to The New Zealand Cancer Society would be appreciated online to: www.cancer.org.nz A service to celebrate Leanne will be held at The Twentymans Grahamstown Chapel, 102 Kirkwood Street, Thames on Thursday 27th March at 11am, followed by a private cremation.

My husband and I were incredibly lucky to inhereit Leanne's garden when we purchased her and Mark's beautiful Hauraki Road property. I have always felt Leanne's warm presence here. I often think of her when the beautiful roses she planted are in bloom. We feel a little bit of her lives on in this garden.
