McEWEN, Lawrence Harold (NZ414995, Flying Officer, RNZAF, WWII). On 8th September 2015, peacefully at his home and surrounded by his loving family; in his 94th year. Loving companion of Willemina (Willy). Husband of the late Doreen. Father of Richard; Jennifer (deceased) and David; and David and Maree. Cherished Grandad of Tracy, Justin, Kerri-Anne; Nadia, Mathew; and Louise, and a loving great grandfather. Great friend of Anton, Marion and families. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Waikato would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A service for Lawrence will be held in the Netherville Hall, 4 Admiral Crescent, Flagstaff, Hamilton on Saturday 12th September 2015 at 11.00am. Followed by private cremation. All communications to the "McEwen Family", 717 Grey Street, Claudelands, Hamilton 3216.
